Who we are
LeaderEvents (“LeaderEvents,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a product of LeaderHQ, a division of Know Freedom Technologies. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using LeaderEvents, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Account information. When you create a LeaderHQ account you provide your name, email address, phone number, and password. Authentication is handled by LeaderHQ’s shared sign-in service.
Event and guest information. When you plan events you add event details, guest lists, invitations, registrations, RSVP responses, ticket selections, answers to registration questions (which may include accessibility needs you choose to ask for), attendance records, and follow-up notes. Guests submitting a registration provide the information the event organizer requests.
Check-in records. When a guest’s QR credential is scanned we record the credential, time, entrance, and the staff account that performed the scan.
Early-access requests. If you submit the early-access form we collect the details you provide (name, work email, organization, event profile) plus the campaign source that brought you to the page.
Usage information. Like most services, we collect standard technical data — browser type, device, pages viewed — to keep the product working and understand what to improve.
How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve LeaderEvents.
- Deliver invitations, confirmations, reminders, and event updates on behalf of organizers.
- Verify credentials at check-in and report attendance to the event’s organizer.
- Connect attendance to the organizer’s LeaderHQ relationship records and follow-up workflows.
- Respond to support requests and early-access applications.
- Protect the security and integrity of the service.
We do not sell personal information.
Guest information belongs to organizers
Some information in LeaderEvents is submitted about you by an event organizer (for example, adding you to a guest list) or by you to an organizer (for example, registering for their event). We process that information on the organizer’s behalf and on their instructions. If you believe information about you was added improperly, contact the event organizer, or reach us at support@leaderhq.io and we’ll help route your request.
Cookies and analytics
LeaderEvents uses strictly necessary cookies — a session cookie that keeps you signed in across LeaderHQ products. Our marketing site uses privacy-respecting analytics to measure traffic and campaign performance; where required, tracking respects your consent choices.
Data retention
Event records, guest lists, and attendance history are retained while the organizer’s account is active so the relationship history they exist to build stays intact. When an account is deleted, associated data is removed from production systems within a commercially reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Contact support@leaderhq.io and we’ll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. For data submitted to an event organizer, we may refer your request to that organizer as the data controller.
Children
LeaderEvents is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information for our own purposes.
Changes to this policy
We’ll post updates to this page and adjust the “last updated” date. Material changes will be announced in the product. Continued use of LeaderEvents after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
